What I found most interesting about the Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ was its ability to hold a large amount of moisture. It is very easy to use, as it slips over the hearing aid. It was obvious to me that this would be great for the sports enthusiast. It is easy to apply and the user is able to manipulate the volume control and switch off the hearing aid through the fabric.

My patient has a problem with moisture from perspiration shorting out his behind-the-ear hearing aid. We tried a hearing aid moisture protection product made of latex; but we were not happy with the results, as it tended to hold moisture inside against the hearing aid. The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™, however, actually absorbed the moisture and wicked it away into the atmosphere. We are very pleased with the performance of this product.

A little history behind the product is in order. The gentleman who invented The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ is a long time patient of ours who had always had terrible moisture problems with his hearing aids causing constant breakdown. Through trial and error, he came up with this solution. He came into our office one day and asked for a glass of water because he wanted to "show us something." He took off his hearing aid with The Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ on it and put it in a glass of water (the microphone was covered by the sock, but was not totally submerged). He submerged the hearing aid for several seconds. We were so shocked that we just stood and watched. He took the aid with the sock on back out of the water and put it on his ear so he could communicate with us. He told us about his quest to find something to protect the aid from moisture and asked if I wanted to look at the aid. I did, and there was no visible moisture in the aid! We started recommending them to people and they DO THE JOB! One of our patients plays soccer and, until he found these, he could not complete a game.

I just wanted to let you know how much I like your Hearing Aid Sweat Bands. I have had a hearing aid for about 5 years now and for the first 3.5 years I kept having problems with moisture getting into the device and causing all sorts of problems from shortened battery life to the occassional malfunctioning to complete breakdowns. It came to the point that I could not put it on with damp hair or if I was doing any sort of physical activity that would cause me to sweat. It was frustrating to say the least. Then I found your product, a sweat band for hearing aids! I gave it a shot and have been a believer ever since. They fit over my device snugly so there is no added weight. I chose a color that matched my hair which helps keep it hidden. Now I wear the Hearing Aid Sweat Band every day and have not had a problem with my hearing aid in over a year. My batteries last longer and as an added bonus the sweat band helps reduce wind noise which is great when you live on the ocean! Thanks for coming up with such a great product!

I just wanted to let you know that this product is absolutely amazing. When I took up martial arts a few years ago, my hearing aids would get so sweaty that the battery compartment would be rusty (and I mean RUSTY). When I would go in for my audiologist appointment, they would look at me in awe wondering how I could possibly get my hearing aids SO rusty. Once I got my first pair of the sweat bands, it was like a difference between night and day. Now I can complete my martial arts class without having to worry about ruining my hearing aids or them conking out on me in the middle of class (which they use to do all the time before the sweat bands). At first I couldn't quite see how these little things could help, but they really do work. Now, I don't take a martial arts class without them and my audiologist doesn't stare at me anymore. They usually last me about 6 months before I have to replace them. But that's ok, I use them 7-8 times a week so they get a lot of abuse. Other than that... I love them.

I wear your product 100% of the time that I wear the hearing aids as it's just too hard to know when perspiration could be a problem. They are also comforting to have in the event of rain. I also wear them on the golf course as I could not use hearing aids golfing before. I am 100% sold!

I am so grateful to have found your Hearing Aid Sweat Bands! My son is 10 years old and active in many sports and just loves to run and play hard! We have ALWAYS had problems with moisture and even cracking of the hearing aid due to balls accidentally hitting his head or wrestling with his little brother. Since we have found the sweat bands we have not had these problems!
Not only does the sweatband do an AMAZING job of keeping the hearing aid dry, it also protects from accidental damage! I don't let him go out of the house without the sweat bands on the hearing aid! It may take time finding the right fit and getting the sweatband on the hearing aid at first (you have to get use to it) but you'll be so grateful for the protection that it will be a small price to pay.
Our lives have been made so much easier by this product that I would guarantee and recommend for anyone who wears hearing aids! Our audiologist hardly sees us between check ups anymore. Before we were in every other month with moisture problems resulting in sending the hearing aide off, and problems not hearing in the classroom. All that has changed! I am a maintenance electrician employed by an Oil Refinery located in south west Louisiana. My job requires working in a hostile environment most of the time. For the most part, it is the summers that present the greatest problem for me because of my having to wear a Behind-The-Ear device that enables me to hear. A hearing problem required me to have a Cochlear Implant in which the microphone is worn behind the ear, like a behind-the-ear hearing aid, with wires attached to it at the bottom. For the past 3 years, moisture & perspiration has presented the most difficult problem to deal with, because of the humid summers we have here. I have tried several products from various distributors, trying to keep the device dry. I contacted Hearing Aid Sweat Band and was told of the new product I was inquiring about called Hearing Aid Sweat Band™. It's for a Behind-The-Ear hearing aid and she suggested I try it with a little modification to see if it could work for me. It worked very well (Great). It does better than anything I've tried so far in keeping my microphone dry and has very little effect on sounds.

I have the most stubborn children in the world and they resist most things I try to change. The fact that the Hearing Aid Sweat Bands™ are ALWAYS on their hearing aids when they come home from soccer practice or game (having left for school without them on in the morning) says it all. They're putting them on in any moisture/sweat situation. Although we haven't gotten caught in a rainstorm yet, this will come! I wear a BTE hearing aid in both of my left and right ears. I am an avid tennis player and golfer and, as you might imagine, sweat has played a major role in the poor performance of my aids while playing. I finally admitted defeat and spoke with my audiologist and she immediately suggested the Hearing Aid Sweat Band™ and sent me a pair to try.
