This is a great idea and it works! I am a scout leader, and every year I attend a week-long summer camp with the boys (ages 11-18). I sweat profusely and each year, upon my return, I have to take my aids to the audiologist to send off for cleaning and repair.
This is the first year that I won't have to send them in for repair. The temperatures at the Oklahoma camp were 95 to 101 degrees. Each day I wiped enough sweat to soak a hand towel. Those hearing aid socks do work! I bought two pairs and alternated them each day, and put the aids in the dri-aid jar at night as a precaution.
I have been making my problems known for years, and no one had an answer. I only wish more hearing aid users could become aware of this solution.

I am a maintenance electrician at an oil refinery in southwest Louisiana. Summers present the greatest problem because I wear a cochlear implant microphone behind the ear. Perspiration has been the hardest problem in our humid summers.
I tried several products, then tried the Hearing Aid Sweat Band with a little modification. It worked very well (GREAT). It does better than anything I have tried at keeping my microphone dry, with very little effect on sounds. Large works best for my device.

We always had problems with moisture and even cracking of the hearing aid from balls hitting his head or wrestling with his brother. Since we found the sweat band we have not had these problems.
